Durable and Inexpensive Vehicle Protection
Camoflage an Ugly Car, or protect a Pretty One
Even today's top of the line paint jobs are no match for blowing dust, falling leaves, dust, animals, tree sap, and animal droppings. Lots of things fall out of the sky, scrape along your paint, and get blown around by the wind. Aside from protection against the elements (or garage dust, if you've got an indoor cover) you may want to consider the fact that your upholstery is less likely to fade in the sunlight, and prying eyes won't be as likely to see what kind of car stereo system you're sporting nowadays. In hot places like Arizona and Nevada, a car cover serves as a great way to keep your car from turning into a miniature oven. Whether you're looking for all-weather 4 layer Noah car covers, or bonded protection in Block-it, Tyvek, or synthetic fabrics, a good car cover is usually cheaper than a new paint job. For people with classic vehicles, a flannel indoor cover will protect your custom paint job from garage dust, kids, moths, and some of the other stuff that happens to settle out of the air.
Notes and Special Information
Special note: Expensive car covers are usually worth it because they have features that do a better job protecting your car. If the car isn't worth that much, or you don't care about having a baggy cover, a cheap one will at least keep a dented, rusty, primer-coated wreck from offending the neighbors.
